The interdisciplinary team has carried out around a dozen research projects, including targeted projects, the IniTech project and POIG 1.3.2 project. The team has submitted patent applications to the Polish Patent Office – P.391361, European Patent Office (EPO) – EP 10461517.4 and United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) – US 13/106,523 concerning an innovative method of developing technologies with the use of an innovative technological know-how database for the foundry industry.

The team has implemented two database systems: Calidus – at United Technologies (WSK) Rzeszów and SimulationDB – at Alstom Power in Elbląg (license). The majority of projects carried out were dedicated to the practical use of project results as part of industrial practices.
